2nd Saturday Gallery Stroll, 6pm-9pm.  The downtown galleries open their doors from 6-9PM with special showings and artist’s receptions.  Complimentary wine & hors d’oeuvres served along your stroll through historic downtown.  For more information visit www.artofeurekasprings.com.

Cruiser Nights is to get back to the freedom of the basic bicycle and friends while enjoying downtown Eureka Springs as we pedal, relax, eat and drink.  All bike riding experience levels are welcome. This ride will stick to the paved streets with some small hills. Everyone is welcome!  The ride is the last Tuesday of every month.  The rides will start at Harmon Park (532 Spring St.) The schedule of stops will change every month but the location and times will be posted ahead of time on the facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/BicycleES/

Summer Diversity Weekend.  The GLBT Community and friends celebrate in Eureka Springs.  For more information and a schedule of events visit www.outineureka.com.

Annual Yards & Yards of Yard Sales, August 5  7a-3p- August 6 7a-3p.  Looking for a bargain or a special treasure?  This is your weekend.  Yard sales all around town.  Pick up a map at the Chamber of Commerce and many other locations.  Visit www.eurekaspringschamber.com for more info.

August 11-14
Beading in the Ozarks.  Beading in the Ozarks @ Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center.  Nationally known bead artists from around the US will be teaching classes and workshops.  Information and registration online at www.beadingintheozarks.com or call Jeannine Rainone at  469-450-3723.  2016 details TBD.

August 12-14
5th Annual Eureka Multi-Sport Event.  Participants for this 3 day, four event festival can enter individual events or take “The Eurekan” Challenge.  Events include swimming, biking, and foot racing.  This is a great event for the “weekend warrior” or the serious athlete.  For full schedule of events and registration info available on www.eurekasportsvestival.com.

August 12-14
5th Annual Summertime in the Ozarks.  The convention is a family oriented event for everyone involved in recovery.  Wonderful slate of speakers, workshops and activities for all involved in  Al-Anon & Alateen, with AA participation.  Attendees can plan to schedule plenty of free time to explore and enjoy Eureka Springs.

2nd Saturday Gallery Stroll, 6pm-9pm.  Special monthly evening gallery stroll through the streets of Downtown Eureka Springs.  Galleries present special artists’ showings and demonstrations.  Light refreshments and wine served in participating shops & galleries.

August 18-20
Annual Bluegrass Festival.  2016 details TBD.  Mr. Big’s Bluegrass Family Reunion is back Thursday August 18th-20th, 2016.  Thursday, August 18th join us for the Watermelon Social in Basin Spring Park from 7pm-8:30pm.  Bring your instruments and join in the pickin’.  Watermelon & water provided by the Eureka Springs CAPC.  Friday, August 19th enjoy free music in Basin Spring Park from noon until 5pm.  Friday’s performance at the Eureka Springs Auditorium begins at 7pm.   Saturday, August 20th enjoy more free music in the park at noon.  Saturday’s performance at The Auditorium begins at 7pm.

August 26-28
